How to find partners for your MLM business
Every MLM business-owner is faced with the same challenge of finding new partners. After all, in MLM this is how the biggest money can be made. MLM business-owners who successful build their organization with strong team members stand to earn the largest commissions and long-term residuals. But unfortunately, finding those partners is often the most difficult part of running an MLM business, especially for inexperienced networkers.
If you’re looking for ways to find (and recruit) partners for your MLM business, the key is to remain confident at all times. Below is a list of just a few ways you can find partners, but no matter which methods you decide to use, having confidence in yourself is critical to your success. The more confidence you have, the more professional and convincing you’ll be.
Friends and family. A lot of MLMers will tell you this isn’t necessary to build your business – and it might not be, if you have other successful recruitment strategies. But there’s no reason why you can’t tell your closest friends and family about your business, as they will be the most receptive. Plus, you already know these people well, so chances are you know exactly what to say to pique their interest.
Leads. There are many lead-generation companies that connect you with people who have responded to ads about working from home and starting a business. This is a great way to reach more people throughout the country (or the world) who have already expressed an interest in the opportunity you’re offering.
Social networking. These days, it’s easier than ever to meet new people and find old acquaintances through sites like Facebook.com and Myspace.com. This a great place to talk about your business – without spamming people about it. Simply let your friends know what you do, how your business benefits you, and offer to provide more information if they’re interested.
Online forums. Spend a few minutes every day going to forums on topics that interest you. Again, the idea isn’t to spam the forums with ads (which would get you kicked out in most cases). Simply include a link to your website in your signature and participate in forums as you normally would. The more helpful you are to people in these forums, the more they’ll notice you and check out your site.
Advertising. Paying for ads – online or offline – can get very expensive. But done smartly, it can result in huge profits. Offline, try advertising in home business magazines, which are read mostly by people who are looking to start their business. If you’re advertising online, search for an affiliate marketing agency to help you run a highly targeted ad campaign.
Direct mail. Sending postcard mailings, brochures and sales letters is another great way to advertise your business and find new partners. Just be sure you’re mailing to the right people. Work with a list management company to get a targeted list of prospects who have already expressed interest in started a business.
Again, every networker has their own preferred method of finding new team members. Experiment with different strategies; find the methods that work best for you; and just remember to be confident in everything you do!
